Our dermatology offerings include early detection and treatment of skin cancer, with a focus on basal cell and squamous cell carcinomas. We understand the challenges of diagnosing skin cancer in patients with skin of color and are committed to timely and effective treatment. Our general dermatology services cover all skin conditions, delivered by a passionate team dedicated to finding the best solutions for your skincare concerns.

Skin Cancer

Skin cancer can affect anyone, regardless of skin color. Skin cancer in patients with skin of color is often diagnosed in its later stages, when it’s more difficult to treat.

Basal cell and squamous cell carcinomas, the two most common forms of skin cancer, are highly treatable if detected early and treated properly. However, the five-year survival rate for melanoma that spreads to distant lymph nodes and other organs is 25%.
